About Dr. McFarland
Originally from Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, Dr. David C. McFarland attended the American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts, where he graduated in 1982. He then attended Georgetown University School of Dentistry, where he received his dental degree in 1986. Thereafter, he completed a two-year residency and a one-year fellowship in general dentistry at Great Lakes NTS in Chicago.
Dr. McFarland has earned licensure in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Rhode Island Dental Association, the Providence Dental Chapter and the Academy of Computerized Dentistry. As an educator, Dr. McFarland enjoys both the technical and the personal side of dentistry. Always a student, Dr. McFarland enjoys continuing his dental education by attending numerous courses annually.
His dental practice focuses on the individual health of the patient. By utilizing the talents of specialists when their expertise is needed, Dr. McFarland’s patients are guaranteed care of the highest quality. State-of-the-art equipment is incorporated into the practice, from the use of the latest computers, to the use of cameras for intra-oral photography and CAD technology, which allows a crown to be fabricated chair-side in a single visit.
Now a resident of Rhode Island, Dr. McFarland enjoys spending time with his family, boating, golf and travel. His mission is to provide patient-centered goals and to achieve, maintain or surpass the original expectation. Communication, education, planning and action achieve this. All people have infinite worth and with education, guidance and implementation, anything is possible.
About Dr. Glick
Dr. Richard L. Glick is a 1971 graduate of Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, DC. After graduation, he spent two years in the USAF as a dentist in the United States and overseas. During that time, he became very interested in periodontics (the treatment of gum disease). Periodontal care is the foundation upon which a beautiful smile can become a reality.
In 1975, Dr. Glick completed his postdoctoral training in periodontics, and he has been placing dental implants since 1985. He completed his residency at the Medical College of Georgia in 1987, and he now has his primary practice in Cranston, Rhode Island.
Over the past 25 years, he has held many academic positions. He has been associated with the Dental Arts Group since 2002. He has lectured and consulted on periodontics and implants, and he has continued to actively practice with his associates. Dr. Glick is currently a board member of the Rhode Island Board of Dental Examiners.
About Dr. Rhodes
Dr. Rochelle Rhodes is a Rhode Island native. She received her undergraduate degree from Providence College in 1995. Dr. Rhodes then went onto Boston University School of Dental Medicine to receive her dental degree (D.M.D.) in 1999. Following her graduation from Boston University, she completed a one year residency program at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
Dr. Rhodes is licensed in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Once completing her residency in July of 2000, she practiced dentistry in Massachusetts as an associate dentist in a general practice. Dr. Rhodes also lived in Massachusetts during that time. However, family ties brought her back home to Rhode Island in 2010, when she joined Dental Arts Group.
Dr. Rhodes is a member of the American Dental Association as well as the Massachusetts Dental Society and the Rhode Island Dental Society. She enjoys furthering her education through numerous courses throughout the year. Dr. Rhodes enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and keeps busy with her two young children.
